7-member idol group Block B‘s careless interview has become a hot issue in Thailand and an opinion as revealed by a Thai entertainer is drawing attention.

Nakorn Silachai who MC’s the popular Thai variety show ‘Saranae’ expressed his position on Block B. Nakorn Sirachai is a famous MC and comedian who also drew a lot of attention donating 50 jet skis during the floods in Thailand last year.

In an interview with a Thai daily newspaper Matichon on February 22nd, Nakorn Silachai stated, “Block B’s actions are from the lack of understanding. They need to be looked at as their characters.” Nakorn Silachai’s statement is drawing even more attention since the criticism on Block B is going strong with Thai search engines at its core.

In the video clip that has become an issue, Block B members appear to lack manners as a member of lies down on the table just before the interview and yet another member turns his buttocks towards the camera. Nakorn Silachai pointed out, “I don’t know the way they are in reality but it can be viewed as a kind of a character to seem different.”

Regarding Block B’s statement on the floods in Thailand, Nakorn Silachai appeared to think that they may have spoken lightly of it because they don’t know the reality of it. Nakorn Silachai added, “They probably have not seen the reality of the millions of people who were suffering from the floods in Thailand last year. If they have really seen the floods, they would not have said such a thing. It was probably said without any meaning.”

The daily paper Matichon posted the interview of the popular Thai entertainer defending Block B as well as some of the contents of an anti-Block B page pointing to say that they are worse than a Cambodian boy band.
