guys here’s something that most non-BBCs don’t know about block b

BNS is a pretty shit company. We love them for giving block b freedom to produce and act like they want to, but other than that BNS really does nothing for them. Block B get on shows because BBC work hard to request them. They win polls because we spend night and day voting nonstop. 

BNS doesn’t tell block B to do anything. BNS is a new company, and has no idea how to face this situation.

Think about it. Any other entertainment company would’ve already had a press conference, would’ve withdrawn them from promotions, would’ve given some sort of explanation. Just today Nickhun was facing hate for that commercial he did, and JYPE immediately released a statement that it wasn’t his fault. BNS doesn’t know how to do that.

Instead of making up excuses, Block B immediately wrote out apologies that they were wrong. They themselves. No one forced them to do it. 

They wrote out apologies. And then Zico shaved his head. On his own free will. The company did not tell him to do that to get the public back in his favor, they didn’t force him to sit down and razor away his pride. He chose to do that to show his remorse. 

His remorse for a comment that was horribly misinterpreted. To the point where both an entire foreign country and his own homeland are telling him every second that they hate his guts. That he should die. That his mother should have let him die as a child.

And now this. I saw someone in the comments of the apology say that they thought he was reading from a piece of paper on the floor. Are you fucking kidding me.

HE WAS LOOKING AT THE FLOOR AS A SIGN OF REMORSE. HE WAS KEEPING HIS HEAD DOWN BECAUSE IT WAS A FUCKING APOLOGY.

And you can see on the faces of every single one of them. They haven’t been sheltered from this in the slightest. BNS hasn’t kept them in their dorm, or kept them from checking the internet to see these things. They’ve been right there, right on the front of it, accepting this punishment because that’s who they are. They didn’t run, even though it clearly hurts. They didn’t hide, they didn’t make excuses. They realized their mistake and accepted the consequences.

This is why BBC are so hardcore. Other fandoms like to say we’re whiny, or we are too intense and intimidating. It’s because we have to be. We’re all Block B have. We’re their support when things don’t go as well as they should, and we believe in them when no one else will. We’re a family, and we are going to protect our boys if it’s the very last goddamn thing we do.
